Moroccan Arabic
Moroccan Arabic, i.e, addāriğa l-maghribiyya, is spoken in the whole country. Together with Tamazight, it constitutes the mother tongue of Morocco's inhabitants. As for its grammar, it looks simpler that Standard Arabic, and it is deeply influenced by languages such as French, Spanish and Tamazight. * Courses are taught exclusively in Moroccan Arabic. *In order to be able to move from one level to the next one, students are required to pass the exit level test.
Elementary (8 weeks, 160 hours)
Level I: (4 weeks, 80 hours) Level II: (4 weeks, 80 hours) Aims of the course: - development of the knowledge of Moroccan Arabic Grammar - comprehension of dictated sentences - development of the communication skills - achievement of a good pronunciation Tutoring: in addition to the course the Program includes 40 hours of tutoring.
Intermediate ( 8 weeks, 160 hours).
Level I: (4 weeks, 80 hours) Level II: (4 weeks, 80 hours) Aims of the course: - ability to interact with fluency and spontaneity and to take part in discussion in multiple contexts Tutoring: in addition to the course the Program includes 40 hours of tutoring.
Advanced (8 weeks, 160 hours)
Level I: (4 weeks, 80 hours) Level II: (4 weeks, 80 hours) Aims of the course: - ability to interact effortlessly and with flexibility in discussions in complex contexts with use of idiomatic expressions and colloquialisms; masterising meaning's different levels and registers Tutoring: in addition to the course the Program includes 40 hours of tutoring.
